If you want to maximise muscle protein synthesis, you need all 9 EAAs fortified with BCAAs. The Essential amino acids are: the BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, and valine), histidine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan.  All of which the body cannot produce, so you must get them in the diet. Data show that if we lack any of these EAAs in the diet, our health, performance, and gains suffer.

Long story short, we need ALL of them to build muscle. Supplementation of EAAs improves muscle protein synthesis (muscle growth) when paired with resistance training. They also reduce fatigue during intense training and, as you’ll see later, can support optimal immune health.

Recommended dose
