At Shredded, we constantly strive to provide our clients and members with the best and most convenient options to integrate training, wellness, and recovery all under one roof.

That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our latest addition: the “True Ice Bath.” Unlike traditional cold plunges, our Odin Ice Bath can be programmed to maintain any temperature between 15ºC to 0ºC. It can even produce its own ice, if you’re up for the challenge!

The True Ice Bath, is renowned for its ability to accelerate post-workout recovery by constricting blood vessels and eliminating metabolic waste. Moreover, the invigorating cold temperature effectively reduces inflammation and alleviates muscle soreness.

Current Workload and Training Routine Wearing you Down?

By utilising Hot and Cold therapy you can experience a reduction in the “fight or flight” response of your sympathetic nervous system, while enabling your parasympathetic nervous system to take charge.

As a result, you will feel at ease, granting you the ability to respond rather than react. This is where the magic happens. Your productivity will soar,  enabling you to become more resilient on both a physical and mental level. Added advantage? You’ll notice an improved quality of sleep!

Elevate Your Mindset

The science of mindset reveals that consciously engaging in an activity we believe to be beneficial yields distinct physiological effects. By willingly subjecting ourselves to deliberate cold exposure, we willingly embrace discomfort and unlock the benefits.

This involves training and stimulating the vagus nerve, while honing our focus on our breath, body, and mind, enabling us to access a positive mindset.

When we willingly subject our bodies to stress, such as an ice bath, it compels us to be fully present, harness our willpower, and invest in our hard work! The result? A release of dopamine and a natural dose of courage which we carry it with us throughout the day and apply it to navigate various stressors in our lives.

Your Questions, Answered!

The ideal temperature for an ice bath range from 6 to 10 degrees It is advisable not to exceed 10 minutes in the bath at a stretch. Remember, consistency is more effective than prolonged exposure. Ice bath sessions are 20 minutes and,
Contrast sessions are 60 minutes.

We also require you to shower after your Infrared sauna before entering the ice bath for hygiene reasons. This is why we suggest Ice BEFORE Fire.
